Christ UMC

We Are Glad You're Here

At Christ United Methodist Church, we are people of all ages and backgrounds who are at different stages of faith. Whether you are new to faith, searching or firmly established, we would love for you to join us in the process of being transformed by Gods love. Our services are Sunday mornings at 10 AM, with Discipleship Hour (Sunday School) at 9. We are located at 633 Linwood Ave in Olean NY or call us at 716-372-3495. We would love to meet you in person!

Who We Are...

We are people committed to a vision, joined together in the common goal of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We believe in a ministry that welcomes all and our sole intention is to be part of a community for Christ.

MEET OUR TEAM

"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit."

Ephesians 2:19-22

We Are

Transforming Together

We are a community of people who are in this faith journey together. We have imperfect messy lives, but we are pursuing and experiencing a transforming relationship with Jesus and with each other. One goal is to lead people in the understanding that they are loved by God. Everyone is welcome here, whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles. We are intentional about our growth as people and serving one another and in our community along the way.

WATCH OUR SERMONS

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

Isaiah 42:2

We serve

A Loving God

We serve where the Lord leads...It is not a hand out, nor a hand up but a hand across!

There are many ways to get involved with serving at Christ United Methodist Church. We encourage you to become actively involved, by the giving of your prayers, your presence, your gifts, your service and your witness.
