Announcement regarding Covid19 Protocols at Christ UMC – Olean:

Mask Policy as of 9/5/21


Due to the spike of positive COVID cases in our community and our desire to welcome children and youth back to worship and Sunday School, we have made changes to our mask policy for Christ UMC. The following changes will be implemented as of 9/5/21:


1. Where there is potential for children or youth, please be prepared with a mask

1. Examples:

1. Sunday School

2. Sunday Worship

3. Youth Fellowship

4. Walking the halls


2. Where there are no children or youth present, masks may be removed at your

discretion for vaccinated persons.

1. Examples:

1. Adult Bible Study

2. Team meetings

3. If a child or youth enter the space you are occupying, please put on your mask.


We are updating this policy at the recommendation of the CDC, Christ UMC Leadership, and Bishop/Conference officials. Our intention is to create a space at Christ Church where we can welcome people of all generations to worship without worry.
